the new core'dinations cardstock that jenni bowlin designed made me WANT to go to the dark side and scrapbook 12x12! i am seriously loving the new designs. 

i couldn't wait to use this beautiful rub-on! i pretty much built the layout around it! the tissue ribbon trim and scallop circle are staples as far as i'm concerned! 

this new jbs pattern paper is a new favorite of mine. when i really like a paper, i like to pair it with a strong photo and keep the rest of the layout fairly simple. oh and the wedding photo? my son and his new wife....i think you may be seeing a lot of them in the next few months : ) 

Using the beautiful new embossed cardstock is not easy... I just want to look at it and hoard it! I knew when I did use it that i wanted much of it to show and not be covered by layers. So I kept the layout simple and let the photo and the gorgeous simplicity of this cardstock shine.
