I think the mini-album included in this kit is so sweet...I just had to use it! Since our wedding anniversary is coming up next month, I thought it would be fun to create a little album to give Tom. I tried not to make it too precious...kept it a little bit simple and not as girly as I would make it for myself. I've been a fan of skinny, imperfect strips of pattern papers for a long time and thought why not cover a heart with strips? I was also inspired by my friend Lisa's scrapbook layout with a stitched heart and a mix of pattern papers that you can see here: The ribbon included in the project kit is one of my favorites ever! so pretty. |

I sketched an idea months ago, using flowers of various medias like this...so when I saw the yummy Basic Grey flower packs, I knew exactly what I wanted to do with them! I also mixed in some |

The Basic Grey felt flower accent in this kit is so beautiful! I wanted to keep the layout super simple to let the photo and few carefully chosen bits shine. |
