What is your favorite JBS product?
Butterflies! But don't make me pick between the butterflies, please. Butterfly rub-ons, chipboard butterflies (in both little and big), butterfly stickers, butterfly paper and ooooooh: the 3D embellished, bejeweled butterflies. Okay: those are my favourite.
What countries have you traveled to?
I grew up in the US and live in the UK, and other than that I've been to... Canada, Mexico, Iceland, Ireland, France, Belgium, Germany, Spain, Austria, Switzerland, Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, Cambodia, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Japan, Hong Kong, Australia, New Zealand, Chile and Argentina. It seems like a lot and not very many at all, all at once.
What is your guilty pleasure?
Baked goods. I am hopeless at anything that involves the complete sacrifice of carbohydrates.
What is the weirdest thing you've ever included on a scrapbook page?
Probably a toss-up between cinnamon sticks, old view-master reels and the shell of a pecan.
As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?
An astronaut and a dance teacher. The two go together, obviously, though I thought I would have to know a second dance teacher to keep things going when I was, you know, IN SPACE.
If you have any scars, how did you get them?
I have scars on my legs from a strange collision between me, Hawaiian lava rock and two idiots in a kayak. (It's fair to call them idiots: they didn't even check to see if I was okay after ran right over me.) I have scars on the top of my right hand from climbing over a temple in the jungle in Cambodia. That time I was the idiot for thinking I could make a ridiculously long drop when I am ridiculously short. Thankfully neither set is very major.
What is your current desktop picture?
The painting Nighthawks.
Where did you live in 1987?
Between a city and a farm town, pretty much in the middle of nowhere, in Kansas.
Can you change the tire on a car?
I had to once, for drivers' ed in high school. I don't even own a car now so I am pretty sure I would need instructions. But there's a youtube video for that, right?
What do you spend too much time doing?
Staring at things. Staring at the internet. Staring at the newspaper. Staring at my clothes. Staring at my notebook. Staring at my scrapbook supplies. Once I start doing something, I'm always better off... but I spend a lot of time just staring.
What three things do you have on you at all times?
Lip balm, a cardigan and my Starbucks card.
