MINI-ALBUM KIT + MAIN PAPERCRAFTING KIT. Earlier this year, my daughter participated in a choir festival, and I've been saving the program for months. It has finally found its purpose here, as half of a two-page layout. Given the bold color of the program, I chose a neutral background (from the main papercrafting kit) for the opposite page, and repeated the bright orange in small amounts to establish a sense of unity between both pages. |
| Using the software for my die-cut machine, I sized down the May stencil die-cut, and copied and pasted it once, so that the two sets of images were side by side. After cutting the images, I backed them with strips of patterned tape from the mini-album kit. I love the effect! | |

PAPERCRAFTING + MINI-ALBUM KIT. The colors in this month's kits are just so bright and happy, and they inspired me to scrap what makes me happy -- this photo of my sweet kitty, who recently turned nineteen. She's still a beauty, isn't she? The approach to the layout was simple: I cut out a large patterned rectangle and used it as the foundation upon which I added my photo (backed with polka-dotted vellum) and gathered together bits and pieces from the kits. |

PAPERCRAFTING KIT. This month's exclusive patterned papers were perfect for this layout featuring my mom's trip to Paris, a trip she'd been dreaming of all her life. One of the sheets of patterned paper actually says "Paris" -- c'est merveilleux! I backed the photos with various patterns, softening the bolder colors by placing sheets of vellum over them. |

Before printing on the tags, I removed the string that was attached to each one, and after running each tag through the printer, I added the string to the tags once again, trimming the string and tucking the excess under each tag. |

I tucked in bits and pieces from the kit between the layers of the layout, stamping the cream-colored tabs with this month's exclusive stamp. I just love the vintage feel this lends to the layout. |
