[PAPERCRAFTING KIT CHALLENGE] I used the Weathervane Paint Dabber with the kit stencil to create this background, outlining each hexagon with a black pen once the paint was dry. I cut small hexagons from patterned papers (using the stencil as a pattern) and cut my photos into larger hexagons. I went old-school with my fasteners, pulling out the silver gromments from my stash!
The title was cut on my SIlhouette and popped up with foam adhesive squares.
[PAPERCRAFTING + ARTISAN] I adore this quote from Bob Marley and wanted to make it a focal point on this page. I typeset the quote and printed it on my background, leaving space to add a Silhouette-cut title at the top. The other shapes were also cut on my Silhouette and stitched to the page.
Misting lightly over the stencil with a watered-down mixture of Chewing Gum ink gave some soft accents to my page edges.
I used the font Museo Slab 500 in various point sizes to set the lines of type
[PAPERCRAFTING + ARTISAN] I layered some large banners cut from patterned paper over the Cosmo Cricket label paper. It proved to be too busy, so I trimmed it down and placed it on a white background that I stenciled the hexagons onto with a grey pen.
A combo of the Cosmo Cricket stickers, kit stamp, and Ormolu tags served as space for journaling.
I used the Papercrafting, Artisan and a few bits from the Mini Album kit to make the banners for this page.
